Esprix Stables is established on a ¼ section just south west of Stony plain, it is the home of High Performance Riding Club and 25+ horses. Within the club is an active competitive group of Show Jumpers as well as Therapeutic Lessons led by Sheri. Therapeutic Lessons provide riders of all abilities to enjoy riding as a therapy as well as recreation. This program can be run year round with the facilities having a fully heated, large indoor arena with attached stabling area for the horses and riders.
Sheri Donner-Watson is the owner of High Performance Riding Club - Esprix Stables which houses a not for profit organization called High Performance Riding Club which she is currently looking to expand to provide further services to our community. High Performance Riding Club was named after her equine partner of 14 years, High Performance, aka Hawk!
At our barn, Sheri is driven and inspired by the youth. Because of this, we have created the High Performance Riding Club. The club is used to promote youth & sport as well as creates advantages for the students to learn from – i.e.) extra clinics, shows, etc. We also find it creates more of a team atmosphere in a seemingly individual sport. At this time, the High Performance Riding Club is made up exclusively of able bodied riders – but our hopes is that we have riders move from Therapeutic Riding to Recreational Riding with High Performance Riding Club and experience the same joys of competing as the able bodied rider.
